ASH WEDNESDAY is March 5th. Masses will be offered at:
8:15am (school) • 12:15pm • 6:15pm
Ashes will be distributed at all of the Masses.
There will be no adoration or confessions.
Fasting and Abstinence guidelines during Lent
Fasting: Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday during Lent. Fasting means eating one full meal and two smaller meals that don’t add up to a full meal. Snacking between meals is not allowed.
Abstinence: Catholics aged 14 and older are required to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday and all
Fridays during Lent.
