Christ Renews His Parish is a formal process for enriching the spiritual lives of Catholics through scripture and parish involvement. It started in 1969 and is practiced throughout the U.S. and several other countries. It is a time to get to know other parishioners at Sacred Heart and grow as a parish family. Most importantly, it is an opportunity to rediscover and deepen your relationship with Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
At Sacred Heart, the 14th CRHP Women’s Renewal Weekend took place this past weekend. The theme was “Path to Peace” and many of the retreatants experienced the “peace that surpasses all understanding” that only God can give. It was a wonderful time of spiritual and emotional connection for about fifty women in our parish community.
Now, a new formation team will be created, which allows for continued transformation. The formation team is a year-long commitment and includes both CRHP alumni and women who just attended the renewal weekend. The formation team meets twice per month on Mondays at 7pm to learn, share, and grow spiritually. The formation culminates with the next women’s renewal weekend, which is scheduled for August 16-17, 2025.
